I grew up in Corpus Christi Texas with my brother, sister, and raised by a single dad who worked very hard for his children. Coming from a Hispanic family back in the 70’s this was almost unheard of, a father raising three children all alone. Throughout my childhood I felt that God was always with me.
We didn’t go to church every Sunday. But from time to time, we would end up there some way or another. I didn’t quite understand it all, but I knew that God was there.
When I was 17 years old, I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. Some people may wonder what this means. It simply means 1, that I admitted that I was a sinner, 2, that I acknowledged that He died on the Cross for me, and 3, I would commit to change my life and live for Him. Having a personal relationship with Him has changed me. After I asked him into my life, He revealed why certain things happened to me. I then began to understand more and desired a deeper relationship with him by reading his word and praying every day.
I started Inspirational Crossroads because I wanted to help people. I saw what was going on in our world and knew that we needed to do something as a society. If you think your all alone in this world, think again. God has never left you even when your circumstances seem unfair. The bible tells us to lean not on our own understanding, and in all our ways acknowledge Christ and he shall direct our paths. My goal for others is for you to not lose hope, and to walk by faith.
