I remember the moment I heard that my dad died. I felt as though I was going to lose it. But then, the Lord came and reminded me that every time I spoke to my dad, we ended with saying, “I love you and goodbye.” Don’t ever leave anything unsaid. You don’t want to live a life with regret.

But if you have done this, know there is hope for you. When my dad died, I ran to Jesus! I prayed more I read more scripture, I worshiped more, and I journaled speaking to God. He showed up with His unfailing peace and grace. He showed me what I should be doing with my life and put me on a path to help others just like me.

We all sin. But you can be forgiven. Cry out to God today, seek Him, repent, and you will find Him. It’s a promise He shares with all of us.
