“Knot” Your Problem

“Can you recall a time in your life when you’ve gotten frustrated trying to untie a knot? I think we all have.

I once heard from a professional kite flyer that even if you get your strings completely knotted up you can untangle them, you just need patience.

He said that some kites get knotted up so well that they have to be hammered out.

These knots are like the struggles we face in our own lives. Some of us make these knots and never untie them. We keep our strings gnarled and tight. If you’re reading this and feel like you are tangled up inside all your troubles, try not to get overwhelmed by the sight of them. Remember, even the toughest knots can be untied. Instead of looking at all the knots you’re dealing with at once, focus on one small tangle at a time. Work it out with an open mind and an understanding heart. You will notice that some will be easier than you thought to unravel, and some will take more time. Life is a puzzle, and with dealing certain pieces require determination and patience. It’s important to know that if you get frustrated it’s okay to take a break, just don’t stop working at unraveling your knot altogether. With faith in God, he will help you. Putting focus on one problem at a time will eventually result in a clear line that you can fly your kite on, unbounded.

Did you know that after all that your line will still fly? Even with little dents and stretches in the line, it will still fly. You will soar with pride knowing you persevered.

I pray for everyone that reads this to understand my point. We are all human and all are going through something in our lives. Don’t judge others, after all, you never know what kind of knots they are dealing with. Maybe you can give a helping hand to someone else when you are all untangled. You can teach them new ways to stretch out their line and be free from worry and strife.”
